Counseling Via Text, Phone, or Video

The mental health of our students is of critical importance to the 91快播 community, and we strive to have an inclusive and stigma-free campus.

The University has partnered with Uwill, a leading mental health platform for colleges and universities. This service will provide free teletherapy for all undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of their location. Psychiatric evaluation for medication management will also be available.

We understand that students may face a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, stress, relationship problems, family concerns, academic performance difficulties, sleep disturbance, social isolation/loneliness, and adjustment to a new environment, among others.

Students can now access a licensed counselor via phone, video call, or text without the hassle of waitlists, referral processes, or insurance complexities. Once a student selects a counselor that best fits their needs and preferences, support is available to them within 24 hours. Students will no longer have to wait for an appointment opening or walk across campus and enter a physical mental health counseling center. Sessions will be as formal or as casual as the student prefers, and counselors are available weeknights, weekends and during school breaks – all through the push of a button.

Who are the counselors available on the platform?

All Uwill counselors are all licensed mental health professionals with extensive clinical experience who possess one of the following credentials:

Doctoral Level Licensed psychologists (LP, Ph.D., Psy.D. or the state’s equivalent of an independently licensed psychologist)
Master’s Level Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW, LICSW, or the state’s equivalent of an independently licensed social worker)
Master’s Level Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT – or the state’s equivalent of an independently licensed marriage and family therapist)
Master’s Level Licensed Counselors (LPC, LPCC – or the state’s equivalent of an independently licensed counselor)

Which treatment approaches do the counselors utilize?

Counselors generally take a solutions-oriented, wholistic perspective to treatment with a focus on providing specific coping skills to address the issues you are facing. To accomplish this, counselors use a variety of approaches including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Is this service really free?

91快播 University is offering this service to all currently enrolled 91快播 undergraduate and graduate students as an additional resource, free of charge.

Is it really private and secure?

Absolutely. Uwill is HIPAA and FERPA compliant, which means they follow the strictest privacy guidelines. Your data is never shared – even on an anonymized basis – to any third party – without your consent.
