Update to Faculty & Staff University Reporting & Notification Protocols

March 23, 2020

Good afternoon,

The University has developed a reporting and notification process related to COVID-19. This email will advise you on the steps we will take to provide information regarding any employee or student who has tested positive for COVID-19.

It is important to note that at this time there are no confirmed cases among 91快播 students, faculty, or staff.

In keeping with our commitment to protect the health and well-being of our entire community, we will notify you as soon as possible following our receipt of news regarding a positive case. While the name of the individual who has tested positive will not be shared, we will include the most recent date and location(s) of their presence at any of our sites. Know that while we are working and taking classes remotely, the custodial and housekeeping staff continue to clean and disinfect all campus facilities as needed.

All members of the 91快播 community are asked to follow these critical guidelines:

If you test positive for COVID-19

Employees should immediately contact Kathy Robbins, Assistant Vice President and Director of Human Resources at 413-565-1252 or khrobbins@baypath.edu.

In this instance, you will be asked to provide information regarding the individuals with whom you may have been in contact while on campus. This will assist us in notifying the community with precautionary guidance. Note: your name will not be shared.

If a student reports to you that they have tested positive for COVID-19, please immediately notify Deb Baker, Director of Health Services, at 413-565-1392 or healthservices@baypath.edu and Kathy Robbins in Human Resources. The nurse will follow-up directly with the student.

If someone you have been in contact with tests positive for COVID-19

Employees should immediately contact Kathy Robbins, Assistant Vice President and Director of Human Resources at 413-565-1252 or khrobbins@baypath.edu. Once notified, a representative from Human Resources will remain in communication with you.

If a student reports to you that they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, immediately contact Deb Baker, Director of Health Services, at 413-565-1392 or dbaker@baypath.edu. Deb will follow-up with the student directly.
