Women Supporting Women: Three New Members Inducted Into 91快播鈥檚 21st Century Business Leaders Hall of Fame

Over 1,700 women celebrated the induction of three new Hall of Fame members at last month’s Women’s Leadership Conference. Established in 2004, 91快播’s 21st Century Women Business Leaders Hall of Fame celebrates and shares the courageous spirit of women in business. Through this virtual Hall of Fame, thousands of visitors have learned the stories of extraordinary women. The induction criteria, originally developed as part of a class project to study leadership styles, has provided a way for 91快播 students to understand the qualities of successful women business leaders.

  

Each inductee must demonstrate the following qualities:  takes risks and assumes responsibilities; possesses an entrepreneurial spirit; fosters teamwork as well as individual excellence; incorporates integrity and a strong sense of ethics; adheres to a collaborative management style; values education, and is open minded; serves as a mentor to others.

 

The 2019 Hall of Fame induction ceremony celebrated the impact of Dr. Ann Errichetti, Kate Kane, and Mel Robbins. Each inductee received a hand-blown Josh Simpson paperweight to honor their achievement.

 

A native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Dr. Ann Errichetti graduated from Fordham University, received an MD from Harvard Medical School, and an MBA from Clark University, and recently served as the Chief Operations and Academic Officer at Presence Health, a $2.6 billion Catholic health system in Chicagoland. Prior to joining Presence Health, Dr. Errichetti served as Chief Executive Officer, St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital in Albany, NY; President, Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL; and President, Advocate South Suburban in Hazel Crest, IL. In addition to her role as President, she held the position of Chief Academic Officer for Advocate Health Care. She was also an Associate Dean at Rosalind Franklin University, Chicago Medical School.

 

Dr. Errichetti is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves on the Board of Veritas Prep Charter School in Springfield and serves as an advisory member of Dress for Success Western Massachusetts. Dr. Errichetti was the 2015 recipient of the Key Bank Key4Women Achieve Award, as well as the 2015 “Women Who Mean Business” award from the Albany Business Review. She was a past recipient of the Chicago Health Executives Forum Healthcare Leadership Award, among many others. In addition, she has been named twice to Becker’s “Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” and Becker’s “100 Physician Leaders to Know.”

 

Kate Kane graduated cum laude from Vassar College with a degree in English, and is

a Managing Director and Wealth Management Advisor for Northwestern Mutual in Springfield, Massachusetts. She has worked for Northwestern Mutual since 1986, climbing the corporate ladder to eventually become Field Director.

 

Well-known for her volunteerism and philanthropic spirit, Kate currently serves on the board of directors for Elms College and Girls Inc. of Holyoke, and is vice chair of the board of trustees for Springfield Museums. She co-wrote the original business plan for the local chapter of Dress for Success, which supports the career and economic advancement of women, and she serves as a business mentor for many young entrepreneurs in the region.

 

She has been recognized with many awards in the past for her commitment to strengthening her community, including the 2018 Distinguished Advisor in Philanthropy Award from the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts; the

Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield’s Richard J. Moriarty Citizen of the Year in 2015; the Western Mass Women magazine’s Professional Woman of the Year in 2012; the Professional Women’s Chamber Woman of the Year in 2011; and in 2009 the Difference Maker Award from BusinessWest.

 

Mel Robbins, a Dartmouth College and Boston Law School graduate and a Women’s Leadership Conference keynote speaker, is a serial entrepreneur, best-selling author, internationally recognized social media influencer, and one of the most sought-after motivational speakers in the world. Her digital platform inspires more than 20 million people a month with transformative videos, articles, positive psychology research, and inspiring content.

 

Mel’s latest book, The 5 Second Rule, has been translated into 29 languages, was last year’s #1 audiobook in the world, and is one of the top five most read books on Amazon. Her TEDx talk about change has more than 14 million views. She’s the host of an original, advice show on Audible, Kick Ass with Mel Robbins, and is debuting a talk show on CBS later this year. Mel’s media company, The Confidence Project, Inc., produces personal development programming and on-line courses for her global student body and corporate partners - taken by more than 50,000 people a year.

 

In her business, Mel has spoken to executives at some of the world’s leading brands, including Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, Optum, Cisco, and AT&T. She was also an award-winning opinion columnist and legal analyst for CNN and a Dr. Oz Healthline Expert.
