91快播 University is home to many clubs and organizations run by students who are driven to make their mark in society and on campus. On Thursday, September 8th, an involvement fair took place and gave students the opportunity to explore on and off-campus employment, clubs and organizations they might be interested in joining, and a chance to interact with new friends who share a common interest.
Motherland Dance Team, BPU Cheer Club, Women in Business, Education Club, Student Government Association, Protect Our Breasts, and the recently added Communications Club among others shared what they felt was important about being involved on campus and how their organizations can make a difference. Here’s what their leaders had to say:
“We always encourage everyone to join us, even if they don’t have dance experience. We love it when people come to watch our practices and learn about us and new cultures. Motherland explores a different side of dance. Our team is made up of many different backgrounds coming together to express what Afro-Caribbean culture is through dance. So adventure out and try something new!”

“We’re all about bringing more school spirit to campus! We encourage those with any cheer experience to join, because club involvement is actually the first step in the process of becoming a club sport.”

“Being involved in a club or organization allows you to make many new connections in the business world. We meet a lot of new people and expand our network throughout the community, and that’s an important part of career development. This will help us long after we graduate when it comes time to start in the work force. Being involved in clubs on campus, especially Women in Business, is stress-free, simple, and fun! If you’re looking for a leadership position--this is the club to join!”

“We’re a new team looking for students passionate and excited about full media coverage in the areas of TV, radio, newspaper, and social media. Our mission is to expose undergraduates to the professional, academic, and social aspects of the field through networking opportunities, guest speakers, workshops, volunteer work, experiential learning, and more! Being involved means thinking outside the box and getting creative and that’s what we’re looking for.”
