Trey Mireles, MS
Trey Mireles started his journey as an educator as a young child who chose to be a volunteer summer school teaching assistant. His career path has blossomed ever since.
Trey's formal path to becoming an educator began with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During this time he had the opportunity to work with students with physical and emotional disabilities while working in special education in the Madison Metropolitan School District.
Completing an MS in Educational Psychology from Capella University provided a theoretical background to support the instructional practices he models and shares. Trey chose Capella University because he was a working adult with a growing family to support. He understands the demands of being an adult learner and works hard to implement strategies that ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. This knowledge and empathetic perspective has also allowed Trey to work as group psychotherapist with adolescents in day treatment who suffered from a variety of mental illness.
