Richard Whitehead, MEd
Professor Whitehead has worked in educational and residential programs since 1988 as a Classroom Teacher, Residential Counselor and Director of Residential Services working with students on the autism spectrum and those struggling with other behavioral challenges. In 2003, he began his school administration career serving as the Program Manager for Special Education, for eleven years, with Cambridge Public Schools. Since 2014, he has worked for the Dracut Public Schools as the Director of Student Services. Professor Whitehead also serves as a board member for the Administrators of Special Education for Massachusetts and a commission member of the DESE Safe and Supportive Schools Commission.
