Elaine Dukakis-Berardi has over 35 years as a registered and licensed dietitian in both public and private practice. Currently, she is working at two long-term care facilities in Western Massachusetts in addition to seeing private clients for various health issues including diabetes, weight loss, and heart disease/hypertension.

Her passions include cooking with a library of over 100 cookbooks, reading, crafting, and working a nutrition blog emphasizing the Mediterranean diet.

Professor Elaine Berardi has an MS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Institutional Food Service Management and a BS in Home Economics and Journalism with a minor in Food and Nutrition both from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. A Culinary Arts Degree from the CT Culinary Arts Institute in Suffield, CT. Her Dietetic Internship was completed at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA
