Anne Briggs, EdD

Anne Briggs (she/her/hers), Ed.D., brings more than 20 years of experience leading teams and organizations through unexpected crisis and strategic planned change both in nonprofit and higher education sectors.  She has a proven track record of strategically visioning and developing innovative programs as well as guiding implementation in key leadership roles such as Director of Quality Improvement and Program Development, Manager of Grants, and Associate Director of Counseling Services.  She is highly skilled at program design, organizational change management, program evaluation, and grant writing leveraging her community and institution-based clinical experience focused on mental health and trauma.  Her scholarly focus includes systems theory, integrating micro and macro practice across organizations, and nonprofit leadership development.  Her teaching philosophy emphasizes reflective and experiential learning, especially as it relates to leadership development and organizational growth.  Dr. Briggs holds BA degrees in Sociology and Education from Bucknell University, an MSW from Boston College and an EdD in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University.
