Rachel's Story
Rachel Koblosh is a senior majoring in medical science. When she is not working on her studies or one of her three jobs, she is active in clubs on campus, including ALANA (African American - Latina - Asian - Native American – Allies), P.O.B., and Women in Science. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of friends and loved ones—hanging out, sharing dinners, or going to the mall.
My goal is to earn a master’s degree in clinical psychology and possibly start my own practice. Currently, I have three part-time jobs—two of these are at 91¿ì²¥ University. I work as a writing tutor and as a student assistant in the President's Office. My third part-time job is at a nursing home, Agawam Healthcare, as an activities assistant. I feel that my work experiences, on and off campus, have positively shaped my professionalism, as well as my ability to work with others in a respectful and productive way. I think if you were to ask some of my closest friends and family what makes me "me," they would express how I am a very patient and honest person. I enjoy helping others which is why I am pursuing a career in clinical psychology. I truly hope to be able to make a difference in the lives of the people I will be helping.
